Features:
Resolution - Highest on the market with a true
resolution of 1270 dpi and with capabilities of scanning up
to 2540 dpi, the Eagle soars to meet the needs of the most
demanding applications. Benefits include the capability of
resolving up to 18 line pairs per millimeter, providing the
ability to separate even the tightest of contours. No
mountain is too high or valley too steep for the Eagle. The
Reprographics industry experiences the absence of moray
patterns thanks to the Eagle's ability to scan pixel for
pixel halftone line screened film - simply and easily.
Geometric
Accuracy - The
tightest tolerance found on a Sheet Feed scanner today and
boasting registration accuracy of +/- 0.05%, +/- 1 pixel, the
4225/2725 scanner is a true GIS/Mapping scanner. The accurate
scans produced by the Eagle 4225/2725 allow the image to be
brought straight into a Geo referencing package without having
to go through the post editing exercise such as rubber
sheeting or warping saving on both time and money. The
patented large diameter single roller design reduces the
accordion effect commonly seen on smaller diameter multiple
roller designed scanners.
Productivity
- No more
sacrificing speed in search of quality thanks to the Eagle's
ability to scan at a rate of approx. 0.3 inches per second at
1270 dpi in binary mode. This scanner will not only produce
the most accurate scans at the highest resolution - but it
does so in a truly productive manner. The Eagle's speed
effectively eliminates the bottleneck at the scanning phase of
the workflow experienced with old technology scanners,
allowing the user to focus on the data's final destination.
Sophisticated
pinch roller design -
provides extremely precise paper feed for maximum scanning
accuracy - as well as safe processing of old and fragile
documents.
Internally
isolated optics -
in a patented 3-point mounting system serve to maintain
perfect camera focus and alignment. The Eagle 4225 uses 11 CCD
cameras. The Eagle 2725 uses 7 CCD cameras.
No
memory buffer required -
thanks to the Eagle scanner's onboard real-time processing
which ensures that data is concurrently scanned, thresholded,
compressed and deposited in its final format on the host
computer's hard disk.
Increased
productivity - is
ensured thanks to the scanner's ability to scan and store
large numbers of documents in a relatively short time frame.
SCANSMITH
Monochrome Productivity Suite -
the intuitive
interface software enables the smooth operation of the scanner
from the host computer.
